Publications

By becoming part of The Society of Automotive Historians in Britain you will receive more than a dozen authoritative publications free each year, all written and edited by people keen to share their specialist knowledge and expertise.

The Society publishes the SAHB Times, a quarterly newsletter with items about members’ activities, articles, letters, requests for information and classified adverts.

In addition, there is the acclaimed Aspects of Motoring History, a sumptuous annual published by the Society and containing in-depth articles that cover both ancient and modern automotive subjects.

The parent SAH publishes two more periodicals devoted to automotive history. SAH Journal is a bi-monthly newsletter which has information about the Society and other noteworthy events, short feature articles, book reviews, etc. This is available to U.K. members in either printed form or sent by email attachment. The occasional magazine Automotive History Review is a forum for longer features, most of which are based on new independent research and analysis.

The SAH also produces a bi-annual Membership Directory which cross-references members’ individual interests to facilitate global communications. The SAH in Britain also issues membership directories from time to time. Publication on the website is also contemplated.
