To commemorate the first Thousand Mile Run, each year the aim of the FBHVC’s Drive It Day is to get as many historic vehicles out on the roads as possible. There is a list of events on www.fbhvc.co.uk or just use your classic vehicle instead of more modern transport, and do consider offering a passenger ride to those not fortunate enough to own anything historic – it might just ignite a spark of interest.
